About Us
Kentisbeare Children's Orchestra meets on Thursday's evenings in term time in Kentisbeare Village Hall. We play from 5.30pm to 7pm with a snack break in the middle. Some weeks we split into smaller groups of strings/wind. This helps us to build confidence and skill. Volunteer helpers work with our music director to support the children's learning.
We welcome beginners who have been learning for about a year and have a grasp of music reading. We are proud also to be catering for more advanced players (up to grade 7) who sometimes work in a group on their own and otherwise take a lead in the orchestral sessions, giving invaluable support to the less experienced.
Rehearsals cost £4-00 with term and family discounts. Click here to find out when our next rehearsal is.

Stuart's musical roots are are forged in brass but he's the first to
admit they are a little rusty these days.
